Brochure: CALM


Several months ago, I had the pleasure of writing text for CALM also known as Christian African Leadership Ministry. My heart has been drawn to this ministry and the more I write about it, the more passion I feel for this organization and the heart of their mission. One of the projects that I completed was creating a brochure. This print collateral piece will be used as their main means of promoting the ministry and seeking outside participation and sponsorships.

I was asked to quickly write up some text to make a website live within a matter of days. This was a fun assignment as I was diving into new territory and exploring a whole new culture. The website needed to promote an upcoming event -- the Romanian Festival 2010 -- as well as set itself up to me an online community for Romanians living in the northwest valley of Phoenix.

Direct Mailer: Aspen Chiropractic & Wellness Center



Aspen Chiropractic is expanding and asked me to create a postcard mailer for local residents to make them aware of the new women's healthcare addition to their practice. I designed the layout and wrote the text for the postcard on Vista Print. We ended up ordering 1,500 postcards.

Direct Mailer: Chic Boutique




Chic Boutique, located in Manhattan, Kansas, is a new retail company centrally located in a college town. The assignment was to create a two-paged, full-page flyer. One side of the flyer would market the second-hand retail store; the second side would encourage readers to recycle their new or slightly-used clothing.

A new retail company in Manhattan, Kansas needed a 2-sided postcard to mail out to potential customers letting them know that Chic Boutique offers private, special themed birthday parties for little girls on the weekends. The copy was creative, fresh and fun. I love how the postcard turned out.
